RESILIENT, RELENTLESS, RESPECTED - these are the traits that the Triple R Racing team embodies. They possess unwavering dedication, rooted in their souls, driven by the desire to build an everlasting brand to be passed from this generation to the next.
Although Andy and his team are having a phenomenal year, it hasn’t always been. When Andy first formally entered quarter horse racing, he self admittedly, had a rough start. Those around him may have encouraged him to cut his losses and move on, but Andy’s passion was RESILIENT. And his RESILIENCE has paid off as he’s become familiar with the winner’s circle over the last several years.
Andy’s RELENTLESS dedication to the sport extends beyond the racetrack and the sales barn; it includes RELENTLESS attention to detail. There are horses to monitor, races to attend, payments to make and papers to submit. Andy and Belinda recognized the challenge of organizing all of these details, which led to the creation of an app to improve the process! Just three months ago, Let’s Race was launched on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
Prior to the launch of Let’s Race, Belinda was penciling out all the deadlines and reminders for Triple R Racing. Because of Belinda’s deep understanding of the complexity of the deadlines and payments, she was invited to speak at the AQHA Racing Conference on October 25th to formally unveil Let’s Race to the industry as a whole.
Behind the scene, Andy and Belinda have been building and testing Let’s Race for months and even used the app themselves to track their latest futurity and derby qualifiers, Layer Cake and Bad King, who qualified for the New Mexico State Futurity and Derby respectively and Cali Ann Te, who qualified for La Fiesta Futurity.
Layer Cake, sired by Eye Am King and out of Tangled Vines, is a MJ Farms bred two year old filly with strong genetics backing her at the starting gates.
Bad King, three year old gelding sired by Eye Am King and out of Start Somethin Bad, is another MJ Farms bred qualifier.
Cali Ann Te, a full sister Cali Chrome, 2nd Sam Houston Juvenile S., was sired by Moonin The Eagle and out of The California Girl and bred by Omar Paredes.
Andy and Belinda are thrilled that their RELENTLESS dedication and RESILIENT spirits are making waves in the industry. It is without a doubt that these characteristics have led to being well RESPECTED.
